Sarah Rudell Beach is the Director of Brilliant Mindfulness and Guiding Teacher at Mindful Schools and teaches mindfulness to students, teachers, and school administrators.

Sarah has had a personal mindfulness practice for many years, and describes mindfulness as life-changing. She firmly believes that teaching compassionate attention and self-care to students, teachers, parents, and families can change the world.

Laura Lenz has been a teacher for 25 years, most as an ESL teacher.   She currently coaches new teachers in her position as a Clinical Coach in the Graduate Induction Program in the Rochester Public School District.  Laura has instructed her students in mindfulness techniques for the past three years and also teaches mindfulness to other educators in her district. She is a Mindful Schools Certified Instructor.

Laura has found great benefit in her own personal mindfulness practice and is passionate about making the techniques more accessible for students and educators.

Andy Johnsrud has been a teacher for more than 20 years.  Andy trains throughout the Midwest through his company, Warriors of the Open Heart.  Kids create their self-concept within the love, limits, and boundaries that healthy relationships provide for all humans. His direct life experience has taught him that adults give kids the greatest gift possible--the gift of example through loving limits and unconditional relationship.  Andy firmly believes that effective humans can aspire to heroic consistency, not consistent heroics.

Andy's personal mindfulness practice has developed over many years.  His practice is foundational to his personal and professional lives.  We can raise Warriors of the Open Heart, not worriers!
